Steel Shelving Systems

The M-System from Excalibur offers simplicity of design, cost-effectiveness and ease of installation combined with the strength of 100% galvanized steel construction. With its patented new fastening technology and innovative design, our M-System shelves are exceptionally strong – in addition to being rust proof and corrosion resistant. The versatility and adjustability of M-System steel shelving makes it ideal for a myriad of applications…from small supply room to major warehouse facility.

The M-System, steel shelving line features:

Pre-assembled uprights and one piece shelves that eliminate the need for additional hardware. No clips, rails or brackets are required for assembly, reducing installation time and saving money
Uprights are designed with 2” tab spacing to maximize storage space and provide ease of installation
Galvanized steel construction provides strength, durability, rust and corrosion – resistance
Shelves are hemmed and reinforced for strength and rigidity
Shelves in our steel shelving system use a patented extrusion process which creates strong interlocking points without welding. The absence of welds and rivets makes your shelving system even stronger, eliminating the threat of popped rivets or broken welds

Open uprights are assembled from 16-gauge galvanized vertical channels and mechanically fastened spreaders (cross members). All channels are roll formed to eliminate joints or seams, providing a strong continuous structure with a 2,000 lb. maximum load capacity. Uprights are available in standard depths of 12, 15, 18 and 24 inches and standard heights from 36 to 144 inches, in 12 inch increments
Shelves are constructed of 24-gauge galvanized steel with 18-gauge end channels and 24-gauge hat sections. Shelf ends are slotted to engage the vertical tabs on the upright without the need for loose hardware or special tools. Shelves are available in standard depths of 12, 15, 18 and 24 inches and lengths of 24, 36 and 48 inches
X-Braces, designed for lateral support, are required on every free standing unit and every other unit in a run. Braces are made from 18-gauge galvanized steel and are designed to attach to predrilled holes in the rear of the upright with hex head screws (provided)
